No worries Dave. Trouble is, I think I tried washing a gritty mag' ring out years ago (probably with WD40), and I have a feeling that it made the bggr worse.

Try as I might, when I think of you playing with your gritty ring all I get is a mental image of a chimp trying to operate a file-collating photocopier while picking its bum!
