Hope to fit them in an old Original 45 and a 50T01. Both after the leather heads have cone off, drilling n tapping both.
    Fingers crossed.....

    Evening Chris.
Unfortunately the project has stalled a little as whilst the pistons are out of both guns (and currently sitting in a large brown envelope in the kitchen), I've not been able to push on with matters as am awaiting some assistance to machine off the existing heads and drill/tap them to accept the synthetic ones.
As soon as I've pushed on with this I intend to report back results of re assembly of the guns with no other additional work being done to them.so as to try and isolate the benefits of the conversion alone. That said as we all know simply stripping and re assembling a gun will upset the balance of things.
    But we shall see anyhow.
Thanks for taking the interest and hope to report back very soon.

I've just fitted the Vortek seal to my Model 35 after also fitting the TW Chamber ultra tune kit, with the leather washer and Titan no 1 spring fitted as is with no shortening. Initially I'm getting just under 9 ftlbs and it feels pretty smooth. Will give it a try out at the range tomorrow.
