Even clamped into a vice it would be difficult to achieve similar results.

When looking at that group it's worth remembering that 10fps velocity change causes 0.7" POI change at 100M. 10 fps variation is often considered normal for regulated guns ...
    Viking Mk2 .177/.22 bullpup, BSA Scorpion SE .177, BSA Scorpion .25 100M gun, BSA Scorpion .224 100fpe 100M gun,
    Evanix Blizzard .257/.357 200M BR, Evanix Sniper X2 .45 at 270 fpe

So what was the caliber .177 .20 .22 or .25, someone said it was .25... was it this caliber? as the shot variation must have been between 1fps or so, if any at all love that kinda gun.

I'll give it a bash on a perfect day some time... off a bench rest outside and humiliate myself.

That's rather good, I shoot groups like that regularly, but with a 22-250, painstakingly reloaded ammo and prime ingredients.

not one in the bull. did this with a lee enfield 303. no pics. but my crossed rifle badge. all bulls at 1000 yards. my best day ever. was actually given a miss but the spotter noticed the sand trap. i put a bullet in the same hole i already made. try it with snap targets.

recently managed a 20 mm gp with a tuned Diana 34...imo the best sporter springer since the FWB Sport save for a Prosport....i thought this was brilliant but it was at 50 mtrs ..
Sometimes things come along to put you back in your box and ground you ...but i note it was a Lonestar....imo the best thing that ever came out of BSA running on air.
