I'm not so sure that have learnt by their mistakes. I bought the mk2 Breaker bullpup and within a week it had seal problems. It was sent back and returned fixed within the week. A month later I sat drinking coffee when a big bang followed by a rush of air and a burst disc had blown. The rifle was filled to a 190 bar as I was already aware of not going to the recommended 200 bar because of this problem. Although I bought mine almost a year ago, reports of problems are still pretty much on going.
It's a shame as their line up has nice looking things, but for me they are not reliable enough.

A friend owns a shooting range and had NP02s as the hire guns, they are great but he decided to sell them off as a bit too complicated for newcomers. Has had less than a tin of pellets through and it's great I really can't fault it all. Hitting a 6inch tall bell at 70 metres no problem at all. It's .177 calibre. I would upload a photo but I can't remember how.

Only things I would check is the that it holds air and check the crown, as someone else mentioned some of the krals have sub standard crowns causing accuracy issues. It has a power adjuster on the left of the action which is handy as mine was putting out a very consistent 11.84ftlb with JSBs, a little too close to the wire for me so I knocked it down by 0.5.

Crikey that's a bit of a nightmare mate. By the sounds of it the bullpups are best avoided then.

Not really. Like everything in life you get the good and the bad ones. I know of a club member who sent his £1,000+ rifle back to the manufacturer four times before they got it right. Would I buy another KRAL rifle? Yes!

Yes, the Kral NPO2 is a fine and trustworthy gun, particularly for the money. It is unfortunate however that we still find the odd specimen that lets the side down. However, all of the guns that I am aware of have been truly great value and have been reliable thus far. I witnessed that Jones bloke shoot three Polos at 47 yards with his .22 NP02 using his first magazine, although, remember, he isn't human.
I also enjoy using mine, although since I put a Night sight on it it is saved for winter rat shooting, at which it excels might I add.
In my opinion, the gun represents truly good value for money. I have to say that I have also been impressed with the Fartandmiss M16 that a few of my clubmates have recently purchased as well though. Shooting Ian's yesterday I was genuinely impressed.
