Sorry I should have said the .22 version for that price, .177 is not really suited to this model and they are selling them off.

Very sympathetic to that, as I am a fan of .22” in springers (though not to the exclusion of .177” and .20”), especially at 10+ ft-lbs.

But does it matter that much at sub-12 with a properly sorted springer, even a big beast like a 460, 48/52 or HW80?

LOL I know what you mean, as much as I like HW and AA some Diana springer designs seem more interesting

Its just a shame that Diana couldn't keep their old interesting factory

I've always thought that various Dianas platforms lend themselves to .177 better than a lot of other marques models.

Indeed they do. It's a very niche subject these days, it seems. Why this is so beats me.

I blame John Walter for my own affliction: the Mayer and Grammelspacher section of The Book is definately superior.
