They're rare in that condition...but not £1875 rare...
In case anyone is interested, I noticed in CH Weston in Brighton, yesterday, an unused, mint 1951 Webley Mk 3, still in its box. It was explained to me that it formed part of a collection and the elderly collector had never assembled it or used it. It might just as well have come directly out of the factory. The price was rather high, at £1875, but then these things must be about as rare as hen's teeth.
Anyway, there it is, should anyone here want to travel back in time some 71 years!

*Cough*... ! Ouch!!!
Still you might not see another, but boy you've got to really want it that price.
Holts have a mismatched (in terms of box) later one, minty looking, in their sale est £400-600
I paid £450 for a mid 1960s one a few years ago, so this one is a little rich for me!

Currently looking for Baikal Makarov pistols with the following prefixes to the serial number: 98, T01, T09, T21, T22
Prefer boxed or cased but will consider loose examples too.
That’s $2100, crazy money for that!
Crazy price but if its a ‘must have’ at any price then someone somewhere is waiting for this
For me there is a specific old motorcycle that if it ever reappeared id buy it pretty much at any price…i learned to ride on it and travelled all over with it before selling it in 1984…zero chance I’ll ever find it but…
Thats the scenario the seller is hoping for….a motivated buyer
Gun control means using both hands.
There are only two Webley rifles I would have been interested in at that price, and a Mk.3 is not one of them, in fact I think I would probably have to pay a bit more than that asking price for either in that condition.
It doesn't look like it's on the road anymore :-

All the best Mick
thats expensive
Yeah i did look it up in some hope of working out where it was from the last mot station id but no test since 84…i think i have to accept its razor blades and coke cans by now…probably many times over in fact.
Ill just keep my eye out for a similar one. Had an S1 250 and a kh400 as well…..something about them.
