My 4-16 works just fine on .223, I could see bullet holes on target at 200yds with ease
I am waiting for a silver 3-12 for my Daystate
I think Sammie did well choosing specs for these scopes And she lets Gary take the credit

Final question gents, whats the lowest mounts i'll get away with for the 4-16x50. Thinking of sportsmatch TO35C, 15mm from the bottom of the 'foot' to the base of the tube ? Theory behind it Centre of the tube to the outside edge of the objective around 26mm, centre of the tube to the base of the 'foot' 30mm giving me around 4mm of clearance or am i away with the fairies
Cheers john
Law of any kind only affects those willing to abide by it.
anyone know how the MTC scope compares with the Falcon Merlin 4-14x56 IR
They seem to have very similar specs and prices
I was thinking the same!
Best bet is to look through both mate and make your own decision. Everybody's requirements is different.
Hi Rich
I never tried at 14, but if you have x14 with a 50mm front lens you will not be happy
