    Depending how I am feeling:

Full power: HW99s with barrel weight in 22.

Half power: HW30s in 177. I prefer the kit version with shorter barrel.

Not the greatest lookers but cheap, accurate, and, mercifully, light.

I really would find it hard to choose between these two, but at the moment, I'm thinking 99s.

Tomorrow I could be thinking 30s.

    Hello to All,

    Almost impossible to choose !

For me, it would be my TX200.

Almost, almost at the top, are my HW99S, and my classic 10m springer target rifles (Diana 75 & 66, FWB300 & 300SU, Anschutz 250, Walther LG55 & LGV)

    Have fun

    Best regards

    Russ

Maybe a Whiscombe. Haven't managed to get a go with one yet though.....

An 11 ft-lb Diana 65 with Tyrolean stock would be nice too

So many different reasons to nominate a single keeper.
For niceness to shoot, my LGV and tuned tx 200.
For sentiment, my Mercury and Airsporter.
For collectability My Lincoln Militia, engraved , reblued, and looks mint.
    For looks, Diana 46 stutzen.

Forsaking all others I'd keep my .177 HW77.

Hmm even taking time off from here to go fishing. Erm it's still an 80, and if you can afford a Custom 80 so much the better.

Just as Jezza said about cars, to be true petrol head you must have owned an Alfa, to be a true springer fan you must have owned an 80, in the eighties.

My first car was an Alfa,,,,, my 80 didn't fit in the boot

That, but mines a .177 for serious use. Or possibly my .22 pro elite with open sights for knocking a few cans over!!

if it was an alfa sud you could have just poked the 80 barrel out through the rusty rear wing
