    I’d think that’s fine for a plinker, as is the BSA Merlin/HW57 vertical block. Not for a real precision instrument.

    Yea I've got a HW57 and really am not a fan of the loading. The falcon pistols seem a bit better but the same issues. Putting the pellet directly into the barrel just removes the potential for issues and is one less thing to go wrong.
