I got bored cleaning my workshop up today so I got the old girl out and ran a few shots over the Chrono.
When I built her the power was up and down like a fiddler's elbow using Superdomes so I've been feeding her with FTTs ever since.
Today I ran her over the Chrono using Superdomes and Hobbies --- both gave less than a 5fps variation.
I really ought to refinish the stock on her and call her done but I now have another old girl on the workbench for a makeover. :-

Look forward to seeing some end results on the latest project on the bench.

It's not that one is it?

Excellent stuff, Mick, and great to hear you awarded yourself a little hard-earned playtime. I wonder if the velocity fluctuations post build may have been down to the old lass just enjoying an extended breaking in session? Was it a new seal?

I could play all day, Tone, it wouldn't matter much, but I like to feel I've done something productive at the end of each day.

I think I used a secondhand seal in the rotating 35 but I can't remember, the 13" barrel came from CapitolBee a couple of years before I built the gun, so the change in it's pellet preference could either be down to bedding in or the barrel leading back in.

As for the new gun on the bench, I must thank CapitolBee for sending me this link :-

    Cheers Mark.

Ah, I rarely, if ever, venture over, Mick, so was unaware of any goings-on. Nice gesture.

That dome and "shoulder guards" could almost be styled on a pellet......the head like an old H&N Silhouette.

I go over there to read what Kernel Gadaffi's/Hopalong's latest life tragedy is and to see if he's still stalking his ex, Kim.

He's probably up a ladder mending the roof on Kim's porch.
