    BOING!
Thanks Tone. Yeah I’m settled in accommodation wise and enjoying my free time. Retirement hasn’t really sunk in yet, it just feels like I’ve had 4 weeks leave so far. I bought the MSX125 last Monday and managed a couple spins out on it so far. I really must get out and do a bit of shooting now though.

    Excellent, Pauly.

How are you enjoying being re-acquainted with the joys of two wheels matey?

And it's proof that Mr Honda's tag line (remember the Twiggy adverts?) wasn't a fib........"You meet the nicest people on a Honda!".

And yes, now get some shooting done, you bad 'un!

It’s been 12 years since I owned a motorbike Tone, last one being a ZZR600. This Grom seems soooo slow in comparison but like I said, it’s just for local fun and it certainly fits the bill. I got an indicated 67mph going downhill with Storm Ali on me back. It’s great fun at 100mpg, £19 Road Tax and cheap insurance around this way to boot
Tomorrow..... I really must get my arse in gear, no matter what the weather, and go familiarise myself with my friends property which is apparently bunny rich and has been ‘complaining’ about the overrun. Will report back on that all being well.

That little Grom sounds just the ticket, Pauly; keep enjoying but keep it steady, matey.

Opportunity is missed by most people, because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.

    Yay!

Nice one, Matty; it'll be most utterly splendid to see you again.

Warm, sunny and windless? It will be. Guaranteed....

I'm sure retirement will sink in mate. Just a huge change from the manic London lifestyle to suddenly man of leisure. I'm not jealous.....no really i'm not

This forced semi-retirement lark isn't all it's cracked up to be, Mike, I'm just spending my days pissing about with guns and shooting tons of lead over the chrono --- it's bloody awful I tell ya.

At least I've managed to tame my 77/97/99/TX/LGV hybrid down now and have it running consistently --- it turned out it doesn't like Superdomes but loves FTTs.

Sounds good to me Mick I'm doing some chronoing this week. Unfortunately whilst removing tile covered plaster board from a bathroom on Thursday I had a tile break in my hand causing a pretty serious gash resulting in a trip to A and E ten stitches required. Oops. A pain in the arse for a week or so where works concerned but I can still cock an air rifle The bloody stupid thing is, I always wear gloves when removing tiles and on this occasion had forgotten them.

I've had a nasty gash in my hand a few times, Mike.

It's nothing special, Tone, I was just using some spare parts up.

It's a .177" 77K action in a 97 stock using a 99 Spring in a custom rotary shortstroke piston, using TX piston rod and LGV bearings, latching into a TX CD trigger unit.

I may yet swap in a B2 or Meteor MK6 Spring in order to loose some of the preload washers --- Spring selection is difficult due to the narrow piston body.
