You need to keep the barrel cone and cylinder face well greased and it rotates a lot easier.
And NEVER use it in double action!

Doesn’t that take away from the point of owning a double action revolver?

It does a bit but out of all the revolvers I've got (5) it's by far the worst double action. Much more accurate and nicer to shoot in single.
