    There's a bolt that runs from the butt to the reciever side plates, there's a flate plate the other end.
    Another area that could cause a stress/crack failure.

    Large flat bladed screw driver should tighten it.

    Thanks bud, I cant open that link with this tablet but I'll try with my other one when I'm on my days off, Been a little busy with work etc, I quite like these pumpers but just for fun plinking,

    Interesting thread this. I've always liked the little Crosman's. My 2200w has a gold '75 year anniversary' medallion set into the butt stock. The wood version has a much more substantial feel than its plastic brother (to be expected I suppose).

    Does anyone in the UK still sell the 2100's and 2200's or are they now a thing of the past?

    Is your 2200w numbered and have a certificate?
    It seems there are two version, one with the medallion which came with a certificate (numbered) and a key fob.The other doesn't have a certificate or medallion. Both have the gold scrolls on the side plates and both came with a 75th commemorative box.

    No certificate so no number in that sense. I've never checked the gun for any number apart from the serial number.
