Scopes can sometimes inerfere with the way you hold one of these ro pump them without gripping them by the pistol grip which can put a lot of stress on the stock as you pump them up. Think thats why peep sights might be popular on them as an alternative, plus they can be pretty good in their own right; just depends what you're after. Not a fan of small barrel clamps, but the one above looks like its worth a closer look. Might be just what you need.

pro blocks work better on these as the barrel is swaged into the breech
they made a mount to fit them that took the 3/4" bodied scopes

I put a set of pro blox on my Sheridan Silver Streak and noticed they were pulling the barrel up!

I took them off and binned them!

I also bought a Tasco Pro Class pistol scope from the bootsale with a set of proper Sheridan intermounts fitted!, Not put them on though as I don't have a neck like a Giraffe!!
