The toxicity of lead varies, depending upon the weight of its doseage and its velocity!
Blimey missed all this crap.
Yes it was me that asked for the target to be looked at, Matt & I got to the peg & we both agreed it looked long, I got down took the shot @ 35 yds & dinked it at 6 o'clock, Matt got down & took it at 40 & knocked it down, we had a chat & then I called to Mark about if he thought it were long, he replied he thought it was & left it at that, I think I either said to a marshall or one overheard & next thing it's been pulled.
End of.

If I see a dodgy target I call it, called one @ Buxted that the sign had blown down the rope on that made a 25mm a stander, totally unavoidable by Buxted but it's up to the shooter at the shooting point to call if they feel something isn't right, if they don't know the rules then brush up on them, it's not hard. Also had brambles in front of a standing target before, alot of people shot it like it, I called it & had it removed (& plated it anyway)
You need to know the rules if you are competitive IMO.
I know it pi55es alot of people off & I get called names no doubt (mainly by Derek no doubt ), but if it's supposed to be set to UKAHFT rules & it's not I will call it.. but only if I'm 99% sure it's wrong.(mostly )

WELL DONE MARK & SPENCER ON THE CLEAR ROUND !
