Good effort Bob!

It is always more satisfying to squeeze a result out of a kicking springer than to hit a higher score with a recoilless or SSP air pistol.

In the 10 meter MPL series we have a +3 point bonus per card for those that shoot with a "kicker" and this has helped to even-out the scores between those that choose to shoot a kicker and those that don't.

I never thought this would be necessary for a 6 yard competition but the proportionate 6 yard targets that we use are just as hard to score well at as the 10 meter targets are so maybe we should consider this for next time.

The .22 competition would not need this as they are all "kickers" in any case!

Any thoughts .?
