In British slang an anorak is a person who has a very strong interest in niche subjects.
I did a post in the target section a while back, but here is a few places the Ednam shoot at...Pubs come and go with new owners on occasion, but most are glad to have 30 odd customers on a Thursday night all through the winter, with some landlords shooting themselves, It is a rural league so most of the pubs are used to guns and dogs and 4x4's in the car park at any time.
Started post Boer War, only disturbed by two world wars

Unfortunately we are stopped at the moment, but are doing zoom meetings to keep in touch and just looking forward to happier times like many others.
Some venues to give an idea of distractions / light differences that can be off putting, not to mention the deathly hush on occasion as a possible may be shot..that last shot being a release of tension for all, with a round of applause from everyone in the pub as all know how hard it is to do.
In the last league match before lockdown the old TX pulled a 25 out of the bag for me
