    Zbrioa Hortitsia

I've been given permission by her indoors to buy another rifle, and I'm thinking about the Hortitsia. I've seen the review online by Matt Manning, but wondered if anyone here has one and what their opinions and experiences are. I'd like real life reviews rather than someones opinion who's never even picked one up, let alone used one Any thoughts would be good. Thanks

Whether you think you can or think you can't, you're probably right.

I yearn for a cheap PCP in .22 for wandering the fields and woods. I took a look on a couple of websites and am astounded at the choice. The more unpronouncable rifles in particular seem great value.

    Watching with interest.....

One of my reasons for asking is I have a limited budget of about £400, and I'd found a Hortitsia at Sure-shot airguns for £400. However after a phone-call today, it turns out they are no longer supplying Zbroia's. Shame and the next company, Pellpax are another £50 + delivery!

I like the horizontal bolt, just like a Moisin-Nagant. The cocking noise is excellent. A double set-trigger would be nice.

If you are not familiar with Mark's style that is a rave review. It sort of corrects the exhuberance of Giles Barry on The Airgun Gear Show...

Latest review on this from Big Dan's Airguns. https://youtu.be/leBN8IUK7RQ

I have the Kozak, it's Bullpup counterpart. Its so good, i sold the compatto i had. THe Zbroia is not in the least bit pellet fussy, comes with 2 mags from new, and is regulated. You'd be hard pushed to find anything in this price bracket that has the features the Kozak/Hortitsia has!

When I called Dan to buy one he tried to put me off saying the majority were being sent back to the manufacturer's with problems, particularly around the magazine indexing system. He tried to persuade me to buy an Artemis instead.

I ended up buying a Kral NP-02 and am very pleased with it.

    The Zbroia looks nicer though
