Only when he put rings on it and clamps them up tight

I have the 4.5-30x50 Elite 6500. With a little care it is easy to re paralax down to 17yd. This wil however give a max range of 65 yd. This is ideal for FT and hunting and a clear paralax free image down to 10yd on 4.5 Mag. You can rangefind down to 10yd if you use a Leupold 50ft adaptor.

A great scope for FT which ranges on a par with Leupold Comps with much larger gaps (more than double) at 45,50 & 55 than big Nikkos. The most compact FT scope available I think and only 21 ounces
    Make every shot count.

Had similar problem with my Legend and had to be returned.

Windage adjuster so tight could barely turn it.

    Mil-dot thickness

    Hi Dave,
    Fine review!!!

    I have had an Elite 4200 6-24x40 mil-dot, and a legend 5-15x40 mil-dot.
Now I am curious about the thickness of the mil-dot in the 6500 series.
At the same magnification, the 6500 mil-dot appear the same thickness of the 4200 series or is fat as in the legend series?
    Thanks

    With 4,5-30x50 model 6 yards at 4.5x ?
And what distance will focus at 10x and 20x magnification?
    Thanks

On 30x it will focus at 25 yards. Can somewho tell me please, how 4.5-30x50 scope focusing on 4,5x, 10x and 20x magnification? In Yards approximately.
    Thanks

at 4.5x it still focuses at 25 yrds no matter what people tell you...you can strain your eye and manage to get it to sort of focus...but only just..

You must've been looking down the wrong end then Holly!! Mr. Murphy seems to like his.... and do pretty well with it.

I used one for most of this year's FT season and found it very useable, and much lighter than either a big Nikko or the NXS it replaced. Didn't reparallax , and found it has a "dead zone" from 25 - 20 yds going from au naturel to with 50' CFA: - nt a problem, 'cos the pellet flight's pretty flat around there anyway. It'll then come down to 11 yds with the CFA, and drops down with percieved focus to 8 yds.

The best bit's the gaps at the top end: I have 10mm between 50 and 55 yds, using a 4" wheel. I didn't get that with the big Nikko at 50x. The scope's much lighter than anything else I've used except my Elite 4200, but the sidewheel focus makes it much easier to use.
