Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

Still fun though and dare I say it, probably lovely to shoot from a HW 99 or 95.

Far too many rifles to list now, all mainly British but the odd pesky foreigner has snuck in

Get to the back of the queue 😏
I’m still after the 30cal chaps...
The .25 is just to tide me over fellas. I already have a venom shrouded .25 on an ‘80, just fancy putting one on a ‘90 with open sights 😎

I have to say 80s shoot really nice in .25, so I've no reason to suspect a 90 won't too.. I guess the larger cylinder dia (30mm) works well with the larger cal - lower back pressure to reduce piston bounce, and plenty of volume to keep the pressure up....

The JSB pellets are to big for Harper polygroove brass .30 barrels which are closer to .295".I know of the whereabouts of a few tins of the correct ammo. I heard of a Harper .30" Sharp Innova conversion. Bet that went well

Polymag 44.75 grn .30 calibre pellets on that forbidden bay zone. Think I will make up a .30 barrel conversion for a BSA Spitfire for fun, will probably see the pellet travelling at only 340 fps.
