    Advice appreciated.

Price seems Good but what seems to be a mk1 which I believe to be regulated I would check it over first, If someone has not fitted the barrel support then I would recommend you get one as you will get problems sooner or later, The mk2 ranger however , gun only can be normally picked up from £600, If it was me I would get a later mk2 , That's just my opinion , I've had mine now for 7 years and it's a lovely accurate gun, Its not one to lug about though for long periods, Mine I use only for targets and plinking as its got a very high shot count, Mate of mine had a mk1 and I remember him having trouble with some spring in the trigger a couple of times plus he also had a slow leak which was fixed but for some reason it didnt last long and leaked again, But hopefully someone will come along soon and give more info and advice as that's about all I know of them,
If it's been serviced lately or you can get a price on a service if it should need one in the near future then it gives you an idea of what's best to do,

Sadly it has not been serviced in a long while and does not come with a barrel support.

It’s not to hard to self service a barrel band can be picked up for a couple of quid. Have a test shoot and see how it goes and then offer him what you think is a fair price.

Decent price and a good rifle, Ive found the mk1 to be far better than the mk2 in every way.

    Buy it and enjoy

I have no prior experience with Daystate airguns, so I would not know whether this rifle is any good or not, or whether the price was fair.
