I think HW re quality is not good on new guns,
it could be the begining of the end for them.
A HW made in the 70's or 80's is a completely different thing
to the twangy rubbish with sharp cut ended springs they churn out now.
My 2013 HW 50 (99 in the UK) does not fall short compared to my 1980 HW 35, so what do you see that I don't?

Compare the cocking slot/rail thingy me jig,the manager at HCC (15 mins or so from my front door) when looking over my new 95
said there and then ''this is how they are made now,I admit they aren't as good but this is what we have'' and went on to advise a tune up job
even saying they could do it for a price.
I wasn't having it at all,a brand new gun galling and twanging like a dried out old fairground boinger.
He also explained that all new 77's 80's 97's are all ''different now'' and there was a whisper (unlike their guns) that a retro fit de twanging kit was on the horizon.
Brand new HW's are s##t fact.
