Good thread this has become. Your answer made me think back to my centrefire pistol days. Dont get me wrong, I LOVE all airguns to death, HOWEVER, that said I do miss shooting my centre fire pistols.
I too think that Haenel had something when they came up with the Luger lookalike, their model 28. Here is mine in its period case

If it had ever made it into production, the Webley Whiting would certainly have been a contender in this category.

Not sure that 'graceful' is a term than can be applied to any air pistol, very few have the flowing lines of say, a BSA Airsporter rifle etc. I think pistols can be handsome, well proportioned, even aggressive. But in my eyes not graceful. These two are definatly two of the better looking ever made. IMO. 😊
