Mine has "Made in England" proudly printed on the bottom of the plastic housing surrounding the front cylinder assembly. Also a couple of "F" triangles.

The turs are matte finished, no gloss.
Also they have massive pins, not hollow one's
Probably the SN says TR as well.
They'realso much harder to cock so it feels
Doesnt surprise me, those results. Many people stíll think they can buy good results. You cant.
I can shoot the best pcp, I'll be outshot by our gunclubs'champ with a FWB65..
Its the shooter, not the gun.
I always wondered about the tempest, getting some sorta tight fitting springguide for it.
I have 2 Tempests I use, 1 in .177 one in .22. The .22 is much nicer to shoot
For 2 handed shooting they dont need a trigger alteration imo.
PS my max score at 10m 1 handed 5 shots is 47. Shot wth Tau 7 Match AND with my .177 Tempest..

That's a bit harsh.
I don't deny their historical value.
There are plenty of genuinely crap air pistols about to deride.
I'm sure IJ has a secret stash of Webley pistols.
I'm still tempted when I see a good one despite the fact that I know how they shoot!
