Thumbs up Thanks to help from others

Many thanks to several off the forum for their kind help and advice and in particular Ray 'abellringer...' helped me avoid making a mess of it....

Very well done Simon ... it must have taken you a long time to take and sort out all those pictures. Your efforts are truly appreciated, thank you.

I was impressed to read that you sent bits to John Knibbs to see if he could match them. .... piston parachute seal in particular. Did he do so and what was the outcome? An HW seal?
    Once again, many thanks.
    Cheers, Phil

Seals only went off yesterday and I'll report on any progress.

The images weren't too much of a time thief to post...smart phones are amazing things !

Holy crap, now if my eyes are not tricking me, does that rifle have the serial number 1110?

Because if so, what a small world since I have the one stamped 1109!

    Here are some pictures:

    Nice rifle by the way

Thanks. What does one have to do to join or view it? Links go nowhere for me.

My Park is my bedroom sniping rifle and has accounted for a lot of rabbits this summer. Its just so accurate and forgiving, very quiet; a fantastic rifle.
I will see what serial number it is.
