Done my bit for the BBS: http://www.airgunbbs.com/showthread....-being-a-mod-… now I’m a game-keeper turned poacher.
And offer him our B2s for a non-negotiable £200.
Come on, surely we all have a B2 (or similar) bought on the basis that (a) it was only twenty quid, (b) it might be interesting, (c) it's an actual gun, for twenty quid, (d) we thought maybe we could tune it and make it not rubbish, and then either couldn't really be bothered, or tried and discovered it was only a tiny bit less rubbish.
I may in addition have seven-tenths of a Crosman 2240 in bits that I'd be happy to sell him for £100, and most of a knackered Diana 6G, also handily pre-disassembled, at a similar price point. Ought to make him very happy.
The same ad's appeared in the free ad's when they announced the scottish airgun license . They went along the lines of " £10 for a pistol and £20 for a rifle If you hand them in you will get nothing from the police , so make few quid and sell them to me "
As said above they are scaremongering and chancing their luck.
According to a mate of mine, a similar notice has popped up in the local greengrocers Yet to verify this myself, as to whether it mentions licensing.
Post about the SR
Editing this. Had a grumpy morning and think I was being a bit impulsive/unfair
Sorry

Seen that, wasn't it a none working Sr originally for £200 ?
LOOKING FOR A BSA ULTRA IN .177 and .25
Or you could apply for a license as a collector if that's what they end up doing or hand them to an airgun club.
People thought airguns would be worthless up here after the license came in. The ads on free adds said different (what I saw anyway) . Prices they were asking was crazy. Almost as much or more than a new one .
Or you could get the Scots doing what some English did and offer peanuts for them while gloating and yes there was some on here also
You voted for them and all that bull.
Good deals with these members
I think I might. It turned up in bits in a job lot of assorted bits that I bought because it wasn't very expensive and included a particular bit that I wanted. I'll have a look this coming weekend. If you don't hear from me, nag the heck out of me, because I can get distracted from rooting around in boxes full of ziplock bags of gun bits.
I think I have about 50% of an SSP-250 as well, which I was kind of going to make into a real gun until I ended buying a complete SSP-250.
