Have pondered on here before that I have EC1164 that has club etched on the cylinder but Knibbs list says Airsporter. I'm sure John Milewski commented on it in the past.

Yep, an EC should be etched Club and not Airsporter.

    Kind regards,

    John
Currently looking for Baikal Makarov pistols with the following prefixes to the serial number: 98, T01, T09, T21, T22
Prefer boxed or cased but will consider loose examples too.

Thanks John, I recall you saying that before, shame my one is so feint now that if someone tried to read it you'd probably need to point it out unless they were really familiar with the mark.

    I have a MKII Airsporter - EE623
It has the BSA Arrow head on the cylinder pointing towards the loading tap with Club etched on the cylinder.
I was once told its a MK2 Club.

EC Clubs - I believe they were only made for one year - 1956 ???

    Airsporter Club

    HI Sam
Yes I think they were known as the Club MK11 prior to the Club name being dropped completely. This was the time when changes were gradually being made for the introduction of the MK11 Airsporter and you could end up with a rifle incorporating a mixture of Mk1 and Mk11 parts. Is your gun one of these?
