Mmmm........I seem to remember having seen threads about this before. Certainly worth going to a good optician and explaining your predicament. Sure they'd sort it for you, Les.

And it's the Spring (sic!) Equinox today.

And, with it, the promise of those ever-lengthening and warmer days to come.

    Clocks for forwards soon, too.

You can tell Boinger Bash time is just around the corner.

Has anybody near to St Helens have a slim Jim pump to recharge an HW90, only need to borrow it for 5mins.
Never argue with an idiot. He'll drag you down to his level & then beat you with experience.

Better still - maybe an excuse to buy an extra gun, Pete?

How about a nice little HW30S? That way you could kill two birds with the same stone......a nice little open sighted springer AND membership to the HW30 Owner's Club.

I managed an hour and a half at my old Range/Club but of course some of that was rightly spent catching up with the old codgers there. I had to borrow some AA pellets as I didn’t have any. I reckon I shot around 50 pellets and I thoroughly enjoyed it . Given it was my first time shooting on opens, I reckon I didn’t do too bad at 20yds with nice tight grouping around an inch. I was hitting tin chickens heads and resetting at 25yds too. Lovely little gun as you’ve always said matey and I’m well pleased I’ve got one now.

Had a good run back thanks Tone, Ruislip (London) to Home in 2hrs 15mins. I’ll probably do a bit of pellet testing before The Bash but will bear in mind the Hobby recommendation. Now, there is a HW30 and a HW30S right ? What’s the difference? I think it’s the trigger isn’t it ? The stamp on my barrel is HW30 without an S ???
