what is Nitro conversion

we have a new cylinder that uses nitro powder instead of black powder and uses shotgun primers instead of percussion caps, so instead of 20 grains of black powder I use 2.5 grains of Bullseye and shotgun primers which are fitted in a recess in the cylinder and covered with a cap which has 6 firing pins, its expensive, costs about £350 ish if you have the pistol to be converted, will sort some pics out, cheers Tezz
