Henry Krank's are getting "quite a few" in.
The lady couldn't give me the retail price yet as she said that Webley hadn't confirmed the price to them. I hope Webley aren't using the hype and obvious demand as an opportunity to hike the RRP.

AA S200 Mk3, Walther CP99, Soon to own a Webley Alecto
6 ft/lbs, from a Tempest? That's a joke! With that cylinder size, and the transfer port of the Tempest/Hurricane design there's no way it could get near 6 ft/lbs.
Don't get me wrong, I own two Birmingham-made Tempests, one of which is the air pistol that I use most frequently, I love them very much, they're fun, satisfying to shoot, compact and will last a lifetime if looked after. But the idea that these new Tempests will shoot near 6 ft/lbs is just laughable.
I don't want it to seem that I'm always bashing Webley on this thread. The new Alecto does look very good, I'm just not a fan of badge engineering. I might actually buy one at some point, but if I do it will be the original turkish brand, not one with Webley stickers on it. But the idea of a Tempest doing anywhere near 6 ft/lbs is so laughable, even if they mention that figure on the Webley website, that I had to reply. There's just no way that the Tempest design can do that.
They are in the shops now, .177 only.
