Bill was not only pivotal in the refurbishment of the G.B. Paralympic Shooting Team's facilities at Stoke Mandeville, which took 4.5 years of many of our lives to achieve, but in fact he was first to bring it to our attention. His input into the sport, across many different platforms, was of great value.

A great loss to the sport.

As Pete said, an outstanding ambassador for the sport, it's a great loss to the airgunning community.

My thoughts are with his family.

I had a few ' lengthy ' chats with Bill over the years , another person that did a lot of work behind the scenes .

My best wishes to his family

I have just heard this sad news on another forum, Pontefract air rifle club, who have had a long relationship with Bill and Air arms as they supplied all our "Club guns" and pellets too i believe, just one of the many things behind the scenes that they did for our sport, a great loss. I met Bill a few times while at the gamefairs and while i don't know all the details i do know he wasn't always in the best of health and when i met him at the last one he probably should have been at home instead, but he didn't let that stop him.
    Rest in peace Bill.

    Bill

Bill was a true friend and always thought of others before himself. DTSGB cannot thank him enough for all his help. Why do the good ones have to leave before their time?
