I use hot sauce, but ask Nick G....
Hi guys,
In just sorting my mk1 trigger sear issue out, could anyone help in telling me the best grease I can use on the piston oring and cylinder? I don't normally have much to do with oring pistons so need a little advice on whats best here.
Many thanks
Daniel

Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.
if it's running an o ring seal it's obviously been converted, just a light smear of moly grease will be fine.
A dab of moly-based grease such as this works well Daniel. Don't slap it on thick though, less is more.

Thanks very much guys. Would it also be a good idea to coat the cylinder wall also with this? At present I have a touch of moly on the oring but the cylinder is cleaned and not lubed at all as I was planing on relubing everything once I had sorted the trigger sear out which is now sorted.
Thanks
Daniel
I use , finish line bike grease as it doesn't diesel, though sm 50 and hot sauce are also good , the secret is not too much : clean the comp tube with solvent , coat the o ring with the lube , work the piston in and out of the comp tube till you feel an even resistance , remove piston, wipe excess of with your finger and that's it replace the piston and away you go
