    Thanks Gents, guess I best make this tool before I clean up the work area then, recken some old Cabinet wood would do? Otherwise I'll try and buy an appropiate broom handle or pipe.

    Some strong, hard wood would definitely do.

    If you have a 3d printer there's a BSA spring compressor adaptor on Thingiverse.

    If I had the parts I'd do the 25 first for practice as it's a weaker and simpler looking gun from what I can tell, I still need to message Dan so I'll ask him best approach etc and about that tool as I'm not sure on species of the wood I have to hand.
    In the mean time I guess I can do the work on the Daisy, similar principle in a way, that I'm going to try an wing it with chopsticks as they should be strong enough to get the spring block free, she's technically been waiting the longest too as she is what started my journey, seeking how to mod her was what brought me into the greater hobby and probably why 1 Gun quickly multiplied.
