I had an 80s '77 and thought 'bloody hell, this thing is long' but, I never measured it.
All of the above.
If were talking long guns it should be without moderators.
Im thinking some of the vintage guns like the Lincoln Jeffries must right up there with the longest of them
I had a Benjamin trail that was a long one
Cheers. .
I dont claim expertise on those. There may be some that are longer, maybe the early ones (?), but in general they are thin things, so can look a bit longer than they actually are.
To use a firearms analogy, a Luger (thin tapering exposed barrel, some mechanism behind the grip) is about half an inch longer than a 1911 (thick blocky full-length slide, no mechanism behind the grip), but I think most people would say the Luger is shorter or the same length.
What about that one with the swing out bayonet fitted to the front? Noisan Nagant (sp?)

I had a 1974 35E had a 22" barrel the new ones are 20"
My Webley Patriot with mod needed a 52 inch gun bag to carry it around
Just measured my Original Mod. 50 - it comes in at 44.5".
Not the longest mentioned here but undeniably long in a Mauser-like way.
Just need a bayonet for it now...
I have a xisico xs-b28 which is 48 1/2" long and has no silencer or end bits
