    More likely the chair.
    I have one I avoid.
    When I forget and have a nap in it I get hours of neck pain.
    Used to blame springers!

    Shame wearing baggy shorts and a windy day don't have the same effect elsewhere
    them there springer's are soooooo addictive

    Combination of different factors. Shooting position, chair, being set in the same position for too long and most definitely ergonomics.
    Try and concentrate on being as relaxed as possible at all times and take breaks and have a regular walk about / stretch.

    You told me you'd tested them on one of the Shetland ponies Mick and they would slip down, smooth as silk.
    Seize the Day! Quigley Hollow is a great place to start.
