A Really Stifff Neck

Is this a shooter's ailment? Shot for four hours yesterday in wind blowing a steady Force 3 to 4, gusting to 5. The covered bench area was a bit of a wind tunnel. Couldn't do more than occasional very pleasing hits at 35 yds with the 99. But when I left my chair for bed last night, my neck was seized solid, muscle & tendon very painful, and still is now. Now I know what those ligh-weight Arab type scarves are for. Gotta get one, now!

Was it the shooting or was it the Viagra you got stuck in your throat that gave you a stiff neck Gwyn ?

More likely the chair.
I have one I avoid.
When I forget and have a nap in it I get hours of neck pain.
Used to blame springers!

Combination of different factors. Shooting position, chair, being set in the same position for too long and most definitely ergonomics.
Try and concentrate on being as relaxed as possible at all times and take breaks and have a regular walk about / stretch.

A couple of glasses of Laphroag 10 and a hot bath is a good cure
