    Hi,
    I've just bought a BSA Scorpion T10 in .177 and had a quick go with various pellets,mainly two groups at 50 yards.
    I shoot with the front rested on a rolled up towel and my fist supporting the rear,and please bear in mind I'm not that good of a shot.

    Five shot groups at 50 yards(measured centre to centre).

    Air Arms Field 4.51-102.5mm
    Bisley Magnum 4.51-32mm,24mm
    Bisley Magnum 4.52-16mm,22.5mm
    Bisley Superfield 41mm,35.5mm
    Bisley Long Range Gold 33mm,15mm
    Daystate Select 4.51-39mm,40mm
    Daystate Select 4.52-24mm,39mm
    Daystate FT 4.53-51mm,61mm
    Defiant 4.48-59mm,40.5mm
    Defiant 4.50-25mm,34.5mm
    Defiant 4.52-15mm,37mm
    H&N Baracuda Match 4.51-16.5mm,11mm,12.5mm(66 yards,5 shots-22mm)
    H&N Baracuda Match 4.52-17.5mm,27mm
    H&N Field & Target Trophy 4.50-59mm,44mm
    JSB Exact 4.52-28mm
    JSB Exact Heavy 4.52-20.5mm,41.5mm
    Logun Penetrator-32mm,24mm
    RWS Superdome-35mm,39mm

    Dug out some targets from previous rifles:

    AA S410 Carbine,.177
    10 shot groups.
    AA Field 4.52-50 yards,20mm & 60 yards,38.5mm
    Daystate FT 4.51-50 yards,18mm
    Daystate FT 4.52-50 yards,18mm & 60 yards,27.5mm(9 shots were 15mm)
    Daystate FT 4.53-50 yards,18mm

    AA S410 Classic,.177
    60 yards,5 shots
    AA Field 4.52-13.5mm
    Daystate Select 4.52-26mm
    JSB Exact 4.52-19mm

    2007 MK.1 Rapid,.177
    Daystate Select 4.52,50 yards,10 shots-19mm
    AA Field 4.52,60 yards,10 shots-20mm

    The exams went very well thanks, glad to be finished though! I am just adding the last few bit of information from this thread and then I am going to do a page with the info you gave me (if you dont mind).

    My .177" Mk3 TX200 HC has no problems with Crosman Premiers.

    I know I'm far from the world's greatest shot (barely had the rifle 5 weeks), but I still pulled off a group that was 1/2" (by a hair) at 20 yards (outdoors) using them from prone - took me a while though, there must have been whole minutes between some shots.

    My daystate X2 (which is 4yrs old) loves either jsb exacts or daystate ft select in 4.53

    AA S400, S200 and EV2 mk1 all AA field .177 in 4.52 head size.

    TX200mk3 very pellet fussy and again AA fields in 4.51.

    Wow now that's some figures.

    Seems like your T10 doesn't like Air Arms Field 4.51s

    That's very interesting though Al. Good stuff.
