I think the mods on here do a great job, and we only see the tip of the iceberg so to speak, like ducks their dainty little feet are going like the clappers under the surface to keep the forum looking calm

I must admit I was a bit taken aback by the post from Cornishmolecat, that is a guy who I'll wager has never worked as part of an admin team, so I hope he takes the behaviour modification treatment in the spirit in which it's meant as if Dave was as power crazed as he thinks then his membership would now be in a black site never to the the light of day again

So keep up the good work guys, a gently nudge is fine when someone makes a mistake, but everyone can read, so the basics should be a given

    Pretty much,
Never had a warning, but had a few posts deleted which lets you know the rope is getting tight ..

I'm guilty of regularly deleting posts without sending a PM explaining why, instead I rely on the poster being intelligent enough to take stock and realise the reason for the deletion --- in most cases this works well enough.

This is the most efficient way I've found of tidying the forum up, and when I'm doing a job for free then I do it the quickest way I can --- five left clicks of the mouse and a post or thread vanishes.

For those who feel their input has been unfairly deleted they can contact a moderator or use the contact us system, and we'll take it from there.

    All the best Mick

A timely and courteous reminder of sales etiquette is appreciated.

Thank you Dave, Mick and all for the unseen efforts you put in on our behalf.

After three and a half years with no natural balance I think it's safe to assume I'm FUBAR, Tone.

What's the cause of your loss of balance, Mick ?

Mine is due to spinal problems.

Although things must be so, so difficult for you, Mick, I'm not convinced. And I understand that this condition can, indeed, persist for a very long time. Hopefully your time to return to full fitness is just around the corner, but you must get to see a good specialist, okay?

Fingers crossed for you, my friend.
