Toilet trained since March
Nope,
Totally original part manually machined with love from billet alloy,
Source - the depths of the Magic 9 Design Skunkworks
It was a bugger to make because of the way it fits to the trigger bar, but I had some inspiration in the night that may make it a viable part to produce & sell
I had to bung some Hogue Wraparounds on it

I'll be doing a full length spring guide for it soon as in the Witness Special & Gold Cup

Couple of questions please ,why are these so much better than other colt 1911 co2 pistols that are available , I have seen somewhere that some of these co2 pistols are available in .177 bb or 6mm steel - is this so In the Tangfolio case .
And are any available with a rifled barrel to improve accuracy ?
a gun is just a tool how its used is dependant on the person behind the trigger .
This is why constant restrictions on legal users will have no effect on the unlawfull use of guns or knives !
The witness is a BB gun, no rifling. Its not that they are better than the Umarex Colt, they are very different.
The Witness works in almost exactly the same way as the real 1911, the browning action is there, it field strips in exactly the same way and cycles correctly with each shot (Obviously without brass). The Pellet shooting 1911s that have a rifled barrel are basically a revolver dressed as an automatic.
They are tin can accurate, bb's are not for precision paper punching, but neither are most CO2 pellet guns.
If you want match accuracy looks elsewhere, but if you want a very nice representation of a 1911 that you can shoot informally in your own garden the Witness is excellent. And for the price it has to be one of the best value airguns available.
You need a Clear English Award for that bloo
think im gonna have to nip and get one of these sometime this week,,,,,
ill see if ive got time after i finish work tomorrow
well i went and got one today ,,,lovely jubbly

It certainly looks better with the nasty plastic grips designated to the bin and replaced by Hogue wrap around rosewood ones.
Direct replacement, no messing about, $34 from Outdoor World.
