Done my bit for the BBS: http://www.airgunbbs.com/showthread....-being-a-mod-… now I’m a game-keeper turned poacher.
That's good because I already have a couple of tins of Hobby. They always seemed to have a good reputation back in the day, and the fact they are only 12 grains gives a bit more zip in what is a fairly slow-ball category.
Will try the Bisleys as well.
It seems RWS still make the Meisterkulgen 5.5mm and H&N make a couple of 5.5mm flat heads as well, so maybe I will do a test when I get the pistol.
I didn't know that .22 Meisters were still made so thanks for that. The Bisleys are an H&N pellet, i think they are known as Sport under their own brand.
On this occasion go cheap! At 10m it wont make a big enough difference to matter, initially! Go cheap, shoot loads and practice, practice, practice!
When you can regularly get sub 1/2 inch groups then fine tune.
I started this life with nothing and I still have most of it left!
Umarex Mosquito are similar, although not quite as good as Hobby. Much cheaper though
