Almost finnished the lever, as a lefty I've got to cut it down to clear bolt, but thought I'd post photo's for you righty's. As it is it transforms the focusing of scope, esp for lefty as I can adjust focus with just a small movement of thumb from firing pos'n.

    Focus at approx 20yds.

You can still see the original markings, but I may get around to marking the clamp.
One think I should point out, originaly I'd thought of using a wheel, but this would increase the height of scope and it only just fits in my cabinet as is.

Wonder if MTC are going to produce any more zero eye relief scopes.
    Maybe a connect sized fixed x10 ?

You know, I dont think that would be such a bad idea. I think the 01 was fixed (I forget) and I never found the lack of variable mag a problem.

I would think it would improve the low light/claritry even more, but dont quote me.

Certainly I prefer fixed mag lenses at work.

Hi hurricane...I'm tempted by a connect for my wingmaster but aren't sure about the mounting options with the high magazine. I like the look of the mounts you used on your airwolf in these pictures, are they the spotsmatch ones?

Sorry only just seen your post.
The mount I've used is a guntuff one supplied by our sponsers JSR, needed a bit of machinning to fit.

    Here's a closer look
    http://i652.photobucket.com/albums/u...ectGuntuff.jpg
The front was roughly cut back with hacksaw and then (roughly ) cleaned up with powerfile, the rear was roughly cut with hacksaw then machined on mill to give 0.5mm clearance.
You will note the large clearance to mag, about 6mm, (this mount is for up to 56mm scopes) works fine for me but not to everybodies likeing.
An easier alternative would be to use combined upright/reachforward(rearward) mount on front part of tube only, this would need about 25mm underside of hole to underside of dovetail. Last time I looked I think scscopes(? ) chinese supplier on bay had something. Have you asked gary/sammie, I would have thought they had it sorted by now.

I had been considering one of these scopes for ages but had been put off by the mag issue on my Daystates. Gary and Sammie kindly bought one to a show recently and fitted it to a Mk4 with a pair of high mounts. In the ideal position for me it worked perfectly with the mag sliding in between the mount and the objective bell. Eye relief was perfect - the scope was a lot further forward than in Hurricane's pic and a bit lower.

Waiting for mine to be delivered
