Sorry to jump in on this thread but im in two minds over which to choose myself.... im not sure how the muzzle weight is attached, does anyone have any info on this? Can the muzzle weight be removed with some heat? Then have the barrel screw cut?

It will probably require heat as well.

I wish I was in the land of cotton.
I'm more than happy with the standard barrel, let's face it, the 30s isn't overly lengthy - and no need for a moderator, it's so quiet anyway...
Are you buying one ?
Yes, I've ordered the kit version.
Had the standard one in the past and regret selling it.
Need a garden gun.

They really are a great garden or short range hunting gun. I only recently got one secondhand in .22 and it's really, really impressed me with its accuracy and very pleasant shooting manners. I'm pretty convinced that for the casual garden plinker it's all the gun you need
For me the choice is more about whether to go for the open sights or not.
The S model sure is cute, but I can't help thinking that at least the option of open sights makes more sense for a garden plinker.
