its a pleaure to see a fine collection, hope they get used, Having not had a chance till now to crono the hw95 found it more than a little low at 9.65ft/lbs with superdomes which is a little disappointing but first chance will strip and see what we can do to raise it a little.Have a mk2 HW 80k and that's only running 10.90ft/lbs but is as sweet as a nut.You do not need to be running 11.99ft/lbs with every rifle its to easy to creep up un noticed

.177 or .22? Either way, before stripping and maybe upping the power, I'd be tempted to try some JSB (or JSB derivatives) through it first, as Superdomes rarely give the most power. A little more bedding-in time may also yield some more power.

Just to qualify yesterday's reply a little as I was on my phone on my break at work......95s, if running standard stroke, and if there's nothing wrong, will easily make "full UK legal power" (plus a little), even in .177. As advised above, please firstly try the JSB pellets, especially the RS and Express variants, prior to undertaking any work to up the power. Likely culprits if it were down on power still........it has been short-stroked (maybe doubtful at this age - do you know its history?), the breech seal may be leaking, the factory may have fitted a spring that was too enthusiastically shortened for the UK or the piston seal is very tight and an extended period of running-in may have the desired effect.

    Hope this helps.

will see how it progresses as it was only 12 weeks old when I bought it,trying a change of pellets, like I said not looking for full max power but a rifle that shoots decent groups and not harsh in used just like my 80 but that's a completely different rifle than the 95.thanks to all who have replied

The 95/99 have the additional square openings in the tube for thrust blocks. Not unusual for factory quick fit to damage the seal lip on burrs.
Result can be harsh action and low ME.

    update

update on hw95, when l stripped it down found the spring guide was sticking on its way into the piston so also on the way out causing the handbrake effect on the action, the spring had,nt even been finished off with rough edges, this is my latest Weirauch of too many to count and the build quality is far below what is expected from weihrauch, all,s well v,mach kit fitted Chrono shows just under 12 so the only two washers fitted require removal, otherwise please with the outcome

The new one I bought twanged when shot,in fact it was so loud it was embarrassing.
The earlier ones Iv'e had with the barrel weight just made a low thud when shot
    not a hint of twang!
And don't get me started on the sharp cut ends on the new springs.
