Kinsmills caravan park...it's a nice site & easy to find...10 mins to Melbourne..plenty of cheap hotels around too including Premier Inn

Sadly this date may clash with our Local Pub's annual trip to Thirsk Races. Always the first weekend in August but we'll see !
Pity, I wanted to attend the next Farye and would have planned a stopover.

Springwood fisheries...you probably go past on your way to Melbourne village. Kids allowed..tents..wooden glamping "pods"..fishing..toilets..café...good website...5 mins from Legion

I'd say it was the good-looking one with the beard but you'd be spoilt for choice.

Is the tea-debt the reason you're alleged to be moving north? if I post you a few teabags will you stay in your lair down south?
