Tempting, very tempting, although I wanted just the plain pistol. Do all the adornments strip off the Recon leaving the bare pistol?

Also it looks like Fooq's FWB 300S is back up for sale, Aaaargh, the temptation. Maybe a long weekend away from t'internet may save me.

Yes they do. There are 2 allen screws that you remove from the bottom of the bridge mount and the mount removes cleanly. All that is left is the thread protector on the muzzle. Just like mine that you saw at the UBC meet Do you remember Of course you do, seem familiar Trust me this is a bargain

Thank you Paul, but that doesn't help much. All the rubbish bolted all over it was giving me a good reason NOT to buy it. Now I know it comes off my palms are getting sweaty

The 300s is great if you don't have a 10m rifle. Probably the ultimate air rifle for plinking with as well.

they are great fun, but their so tiny i was embarrassed to shoot it so i sold mine, and anyway the ten gallon hat kept slipping over my eyes, enjoy it it Paul their great

Nice one Paul. These are great fun, I've been looking out for one for ages. When you get fed up with it and want to move it on let me know, I'll probably be able to take it off your hands. unless I find one in the meantime of course
