    UBC "Toys for Boys" thread

Thought I'd post a thread for us "pistoleros" so we don't keep hijacking peoples sales and wanted threads....
The wife paid for a shoulder stock for my HW45 for my birthday today and I fitted it for a practice in the garden this afternoon...what a cracking carbine it makes!!...

Looks fine and dandy, I've a BSA 240 Magnum, which I'm sure had the option of a shoulder stock, maybe aftermarket, I knew I should have bought one at the time

It's great to use Dai but I found after a time the gap between where the stock meets the handgrip and the hammer outcurve is a bit tight and cramps the top of my thumb, some gentle modding may have to take place methinks.....cocking is so easy with this set-up.

I wouldn't be surprised if this will adapt to a 240...let you know when I finally get one....

Cookie has now seen it, very nice eric. do like that a lot.

Ok as for a second we are not on a umarex pistol, i have question for the UBC has anyone ever replaced the seals on a Beeman P3/HW40 is it as straight forward as i assume it will be!! have also been advised not to grease it but to just use Pellgun oil on the seals and piston and then reapply every 3 months, does this sound right to anyone. I'm very hands on and technically minded but never had a pistol apart before.
