Thank you, Marek. My thanks also to ALL the organisers for a super time, we Brits could learn a few things from you. The all-day free food and soft drinks was an excellent arrangement. We are famous for our burger vans, which are not free! The Polish field cuisine was really excellent! The selection of beers (not so free but not so expensive) was also very much appreciated.

I must now go and mail CDs of the photos to Gary etc so that he can hopefully find some photos to use for his article! After people read about the Morsko event, I am sure other Brits will want to be at the next Polish meeting - it is too good to miss.

Thank you also to all the new friends we made - I cannot remember all the names but the people of all the nations there (from Russia, Byelorussia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany and Austria, any others?) made the event truly an international festival of friendship among airgun shooters. The innovation and interest in airguns shown among you all was what we call an "eye-opener". Congratulations especially to the person who made his own gun and scope!

We will write more here later!

It is probably because of that crate of 9% beer they had - that was very nice beer, does anyone remember the name of it? In fact, does anyone remember their own name?!

I do remember a story about an old boy getting cut up in a car and jumping out of a car saying.." I'm going to introduce his face to the tarmac..."

    No names eh ?

Beep Beep my ass I'm gonna rip his face off

    Gary

How come you didn't shoot in the "Anglo/American" rather than the Poland shoot ?

In all honesty - had a bit of cash saved up and fancied the adventure. I'll be shooting probably 12 HFT's in UK this year plus a few FTs.
I also know how the sport is progressing in Poland and wanted to go show willing.

The Morsko trip was very good value - £156 upfront for the entry fee (which included all-day free food from 7 am to midnight(?) and soft drinks, coffee, tea etc), hotel and flights, plus we paid £15 each gun at the airports each way for transporting them, plus pocket money, plus I spent about £55 cash, mainly on Polish sausage, Polish chocolates and Polish vodkas to come home with (2 x 500 ml bottles of special honey and other flavours and a 700 ml 12-year old aged Slivovitch). Total cost about £240. The only snag is exchanging money back into sterling - not favourable, I'm keeping mine for the next trip otherwise I lose £33 on the change-back after going out with £250 in cash.

To see an event with 200 shooters (total from the results above) out of 240+ registrants is quite something, considering the nationalities involved and the range of equipment they use.

If Poland hosts the FT World Championships next year, it will be something to see - this was a bit of a dry-run, like Ebern 2003 was for the Germans who then staged the "Worlds" in 2004. I believe they will also include the first HFT World Championship as well because, unlike us, they have integrated the sports.
