Lightbulb *** The unofficial Airgun BBS challenge ***

Step right up gents - the unofficial Airgun BBS challenge!

Download the target from http://www.a2kda.com/airgun-challenge.pdf (~400KB) and print it out onto some A4 paper – shoot the target at the specified distances - total your score and post your results. On Sunday night we will have a list of the top shots!

Prize for the top scores – nothing other than a smug grin!

Shots must be taken without the aid of a rest, and in any position other than sitting.

    Gentleman’s agreement not to cheat!!!

Surely you'd need to print one target for each distance otherwise you could misfire on the 35 yard, stick a hole in a 40 yard target and mess it all up.

As sure as eggs is eggs, you can bet your bottom dollar that not all scores posted will be genuine.

I'm sure you are right Scarecrow, there will always be a few.
I have confidence that the majority will play fair.

    Thanks Ter...

    Great idea

While they will do the club FT/HFT courses every fortnight, it's almost impossible to get any of our lot (Swallows FTC in Sussex) to take part in other comps. Certainly can't get them to travel anywhere - mind you, 'anywhere' is almost always a long way away from here.

I will definitely (unless peeing down) take a fistfull of these to the club on Sunday and find some willing - or coerced - members to have a go.

Should they be scored under 'inward' or 'outward' rules? i.e. if 'outward', then shot which breaks the black outer circle is counted as zero. I'd guess that you intended outward as otherwise (given how close some of the circles are) it'd be possible to score hit on two bulls with single shot!!

May have to qualify scores (especially if mine's cr*p) depending on weather conditions (NO - we don't have 40yd indoor range!).

Yep, I was counting on that phenomenon to increase my scores!

    Outward scoring.
