    CSFTA HFT Winter League pics

Ive noticed a few people with digi cams snapping pics at the rounds of the CSFTA HFT league, If you are one of these people is there any chance you could post some pics?? It would be nice to bundle them together to make a nice gallery of the season so far .
    Cheers

You are right guys, they are from the FT League.

Didn't read the title properly. I've only shot two rounds of the HFT, no idea who's taking pics, sorry.

Southampton Buccaneers. One or two do shoot HFT I believe and when they had suitable grounds they used to put on some of the best HFTs you could find.

I'm going back about 7-8 years but they had a ground with a dirty great lake in it. Typical targets would be a 40 yarder floating on a raft in the middle of the lake or a galleon where you had to shoot through the port holes One particulary nasty target was a good 55 yarder right across the lake on the far bank. You could see how far short your shots were by the splash. I was using a .22 Vulcan back then, when I 1st started and I think my first shot was only about 2/3rds of the way across

    Good bunch of people,

    Bob

I remember that one well Bob When the breeze got up you had to judge the drift of the raft. And then when it tightened up on the anchor ropes, allow for the raft to bounce back under the ropes tension before letting the shot off What with that and the 4 yarder through the gorse bushes it made for a very entertaining course

4 yarder through the gorse bushes
and downhill Vinny. OK i'll confess now, it was that close it just needed poking with the barrel

Do you remember where they put the peg to the one across the lake

I must be getting old because i cant honestly remember I remember doing a shoot years ago where a peg was in the margins of a pond (and i was only wearing trainers ), Was that the one???

That was the one, about 18" into the water so that you had to balance to take the shot. Perhaps in hindsight not the safest position but certainly one to talk about years later.

So Bob, do you reckon the BARPC members will have that lake dug in time for the Bunny Bash??? Or will it be for the Sizzler??
