    First outing With Pro Sport.....

Received the Pro Sport from Kes last week (cheers mate, exactly as described and a cracking deal on here... ).

Made a combined barrel weight/air stripper muzzle brake/dovetail groove to take a Walther globe sight on the front and put an Anschutz diopter on the rear.

Sighted it up tonight pre-match and shot a very respectable 57 ex 60 with it.

Only downside is that this rifle is made primarily for use with scopes and has a high comb on it and I am having to force my cheek onto the comb to get a clear sight picture through the diopter.

Will get in the garage tomorrow (after a dentist appointment..... ) and make myself a set of sight risers to bring both front and rear sights up by about 15mm. That should do it.

Nice one, I thought Kick yer butt's air stripper (with Tomahawk muzzle brake) was good but i like the sound of one with a dovetail for open sights (or lazer etc)

    Any chance of a pic.

I've got Neill's strippers on all my PCPs, but I thought they were redundant on springers, 'cos the nature of the air pulse is so different? Cardew has an interesting photo of a dart emerging from the muzzle of a springer, and the tail fibres aren't even ruffled.

Wow, what an odd thing to do to a PS (in a good way ). What range are you accurate out to with that diopter thingy by the way?

Just about the best springer on the market IMO.
