Nominations for "free combo" for a young shooter

Ok chaps, its getting close to the HFT shoot at North Oxon so we need names in the hat for some lucky young shooter to get a scoped HW95K (supplied using donations from BBS members).

Stipulations.

Must be 15 or under(male or female, obviously)

Must be a member of a club(or about to join one)

Members of the BBS are requested to put forward the names with a short reason why they think this particular person should get the combo. nothing too big or dramatic
The combo will come with - HW95K(.177), scope, mounts, bag and pellets

Also Gents...and Ladies.....the Paypal donation account is climbing steadily and soon we should have enough to get a AAs200 combo to give to another young 'un.

OK, I'll put my lad's name in the hat but feel a bit of a cheapskate relying on charity!!

Jamie Chapman - Aged 13
Has been to Kibworth last two weeks looking at the facilities and trying some members guns - a very old underlever, HW100, & S200, and wants to take it up with me. Last night we had a PM from a member who thought his lad wanted to sell his 95k kit so Jamie was on the 'net looking up all the spec and reviews. Unfortunately the gun wasn't for sale in the end. Shame.

If you could explain how to contribute to the next 'free combo' I shall gladly donate!

A young lad who joined Quarry last week, i wont go into details but looks like he has had a tough time and a few opps.

He shot HFT for the first time with an old BSA and never shot beyond 15 yards before and he really loved it.

I'll be taking him around this coming Sunday for his first go of a PCP.

But would rather wait until a lightweight PCP is up for grabs.

Pete....i'm actually waiting for a s200 to arrive....but its taking forever, He sounds like just the sort of lad that could do with this.....i will call the shop and see if i can find out whether it'll be here in time for N oxon...if so then i'll put up the s200 and hold back the HW95K for later and we can pop his name into hat

David....Don't look at it as charity mate...more like the best intentions. I don't know about anyone else but i love to let a kid have a shoot with my FT rig, the smile on thier faces is worth the time and effort.

I would have put my son up for the canditacy(sp) As he is getting interested in the sport.

Funnily enough I put this thread up not so long ago

However sadly we are not a member of a gun club. So that rules him out.
